microfilm rolls produced by the National Archives in Washington as well as
digitized text versions of each frame. The text version can be searched using
the Excite Search Engine available on this site. Scanning and digitizing of the
microfilm rolls is being conducted using a proprietary method. Microfilm Roll M936 is presently being transferred to this web page. At this moment only a few text/image files are available.
A vast collection of documents captured by the Soviet Union at the end of World War II have been copied on to several hundred 16mm microfilm rolls by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Each roll contains several large files, each of which contains several hundred images. The transfer of these images onto this web site was begun on 25 January 2008.
